If you’ve never wondered how a two story rotunda is painted with a faux finish glaze, you’re in good company. Not many homeowners can spend the time.
But, we have! We’ve done quite a few faux finishes. We embrace the layers of paint we work with and the multiple colors we choose for each las vegas room.
Color consultation was a breeze on this one. The tile floor was already in place and was an absolutely beautiful accentuation of the floor and ceiling. We presented our interior design options through photos of custom work.
This beautiful home in Summerlin is owned by some of the best people in Las Vegas. When they bought the home, it was all white, of course. Typical Nevada style for resale. They needed to put their own stamp on their new home. So, they called the best house painters in Las Vegas and we developed a staged approach to customizing their home interior one room at a time. The rotunda was one of the first rooms to get a make over and we based the custom color and artistic techniques of the faux finish off of the colors of their tile floor.
The deep, dark, sandy colors in the center of the floor are accentuated by the dark brown color choice for the ceiling.
A rotunda is a cylinder. When you find yourself in a cylinder, you know you can’t look at both ends at the same time. But, if you glance at one end. Usually, the floor first. And if the walls of the cylinder are intreging enough, you’ll eventually notice the matching colors of the ceiling opposite the floor, where you started.
This is the power of the color consultation in Summerlin and Las Vegas homes. We have the opportunity to turn beautiful Vegas homes into palaces you can be proud of.
The home owners of this Summerlin home, the Villamors have been gracious to refer us to new clients. And we’re extremely happy with the outcome of this custom faux finish interior paint.
